My goodness, it sure must seem like I fell off the face of the earth. That's okay though, I've got some newness coming down the pike and thought I'd share some info!

First of all, we've changed over from a regular Subscrib-O-Matic to a new system so all the names in the existing Subscribo have been transferred over. Speaking of hunts, Sable Rose is proud to participate in the Twisted Hunt again this year. Here's our contribution:

We are also very excited to be a participant in Wear Gray For A Day to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association. This important event starts on September 12, and we will be releasing four completely exclusive items -- two women's, two men's -- for the fair. These will be 100% for charity and they will completely disappear after the fair is over. These are truly limited edition specials and I'm happy to give you a teaser of what's heading your way for Wear Gray:

Enkomi comes in a men's and women's version. The two color stylings that are exclusive to Wear Gray are... well, "Wear Gray" which is a sort of B&W verison with silver, black and white leather, and stones in different gray tones -- and "Stay Gold" which features rich, warm gold tones in metal and leather plus warm earth-toned stones. A men's and women's version in *each* exclusive color will be available at Wear Gray.

The ladies' version includes the necklace grouping, a set of matching bangle bracelets, and the intricate earrings with flexi details and trim. The gentlemen's version includes right and left versions of each cuff/bracer and the braided leather choker.

There will also be a version of each set available at the store that will not be exclusive to the event -- an earthy, sepia-toned version called "Painted Desert" with organic textures ranging from coral to a deep plum.

Again, Enkomi won't be available until Wear Gray starts NEXT weekend, but plan ahead to get yours because once they're gone, they're gone.

It's that time again! As you might know, the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society (and other cancer charities) are very near and dear to me, as they are to many, many folks on the grid who have been touched in one way or another by this horrid disease. I (Rosie Barthelmess) am a member of the Jewelers of SL RFL team this year, and am proud to present the first of the items that I'll have for sale to benefit RFL and the American Cancer Society.

These are RFL-exclusive items so when they're gone, they're gone!

The mens and ladies Purple Celestial Necklace is a re-vamp of an item I had created last year but had never put up for sale in the store. This celestial sun-moon-stars design has been stylized with purple accents, inspired by the purple Relay For Life sun-moon-stars logo.

So, it's the gifting time of year, and it seems like lots of nifty freebies, dollarbies and gift-with-donations are flying around the grid. One of my "other jobs" in SL is to manage a club called Lounge of Dreams on Zindra, where I'm honored to work with some of the most fabulous people I've met in any life.

Lounge of Dreams: SL's Best All-Male Revue (SLURL) -- Zindra, must be adult verified.

Every month we have a gift that we give away at the club for any amount of donation to the tier thermometer. In December, however, we go a little crazy and have ourselves a Giftapalooza. That means, we cram as many fun, useful and stylish gifts as we can into the tierbox and pack them all in one handy package. Last year we had about 15 gifts in the tierbox. This year is another huge count and Sable Rose has donated a variation on a popular item so I thought I'd cover it here.

First things first: Lounge of Dreams All-Male Revue: (SLURL). Don't let the name distract you, there's gifts for men and women in the box as well as some unisex fun things, and all avies are welcome as long as you're adult-verified.

And then, on to Sable Rose's gifts. We're calling this one "Peace On Earth" and it's a variation on the Coexist set that debuted at this year's Jewelry Fair. Both the men's and women's varieties are included in the tier donation gift.

Now, these are just rough snapshots so don't get all hoity toity, I just want to show you what you can get.

MrZoe is also one of the managers at our club and is a very talented avatar stylist and shape designer. Also, she created and donated a set of Naughty/Nice T-Shirts for guys and gals. Stop by Marx's store, speaking of naughty and nice, and check out her range of nifty things from the innocent to the snarky, to the delightfully naughty.

Helix Constantine, the wildly creative mind behind Oddment Mainstore (SLURL) not only created the totally amazing 6-prim sculpted texture change Christmas trees and the strings of holiday lights you'll see when you get to Lounge of Dreams or if you visit the Shopatorium at Gallinas, but she also donated something on the sassy-naughty side. Behold, the Ho Ho Horny Horns!

These peppermint-striped beauties dangle teensy little peppermint peens along with ribbons and holly leaves, and she even included a little ... candy ... C'mon, how can you NOT get the kind of giggle out of that, that makes you wanna run over and get one? You know you want to!

Raeyn Sirnah, whom many of you may know as a prolific blogger on Free Finds For Men also owns a pose shop called Poetic Poses. You can find his shop at the Shopatorium at Gallinas (SLURL). He creates poses inspired by verses of poetry, and all of his pose sets come with poseballs or linksets of poseballs, plus the raw pose/animation to add to an AO or posestand if you wish. Quite a bargain and he's very creative. His contribution to the Lounge of Dreams Giftapalooza 2009 is a pose set called, "We Three Kings."

And if you can believe it, this isn't even all the gifts that are there in one easy to carry box for your donation of any amount. Run, don't walk, to Lounge of Dreams nightclub. Head in through the front entrance and to the right. On the wall near the Drama Llama you'll see this sign, and the purple tier thermometer hanging on a pillar:

Pay any donation amount into the thermometer and the gift is yours. 1L, 100L, 1000L, whatever you can afford, whatever you think's fair, whatever you feel like "getting away with," any amount 1 Linden and over will get you this gift. Spread the word to adult-verified new residents too, as this is a great way for them to get some hefty swag for almost nothing.

So, make sure you boogie on over there and pick up some shooz -- the charity for the Fair is Marine Toys For Tots, and I've performed a couple of sets singing on the stage while the Fair's been going on with my tips going to the charity. It's a great charity and there's lots of chances to give, between raffle tickets, donation kiosks or buying shoes that the talented designers have put out with proceeds for Toys for Tots. It's time for more newness and some big news!

Sable Rose is very, very proud to participate in Jewelry Fair 2009 -- info on the Jewelry Fair can be found in this post if you aren't already familiar. Jewelry Fair starts FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH. We are Booth #16 in the SUMMER portion of JEWELRY FAIR 1 sim.

The nearest teleport to Sable Rose's booth will be the Summer 1 Booths Area, here: SLURL . We are also close to the Auction area.

Jewelry Fair benefits the charity OXFAM, a global charity made up of 13 different organizations, that fights poverty and injustice around the world. That in mind, my release for Jewelry Fair takes into account the need to exist globally as a community.

The COEXIST set is available in both mens and womens versions, and is available exclusively at Jewelry Fair through the 27th of September during which time 50% of the proceeds from sales of COEXIST are donated directly to Oxfam. After the 27th it will be moved to the mainstores, but won't benefit the charity.

COEXIST was inspired by a popular tolerance-related graphic, and contains mystic and religious symbols from around the world and throughout time: Crescent moon with star (often associated with Islam), Pentacle (Wicca/Paganism), Om/Aum (Many religions including Hindiusm), Star of David (Judaism), the rune Laguz (from the Norse), Yin-Yang (Tao, among others) and a gothic Cross (Christianity).

The women's version of Coexist contains a charm-style silver necklace (2 versions - spine and chest attach), and two matching charm bracelets (R/L).

The men's version includes a corded necklace with the same charms, and TWO sets of leather wrist cuffs -- one embellished with the mystic and religious symbols, one plain so you can mix and match.

Have you heard about JEWELRY FAIR 2009? If you haven't, here's the scoop. Over 130 of your favorite SL jewelers, both ones you've heard of before and ones you may not have been exposed to, are getting together on two sims starting TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 18TH, and are showcasing their creations for the benefit of you, the consumer, and for charity.

We, the Jewelers, have chosen to represent OXFAM, which is a global charity and you can find more information about them at OXFAM.ORG.

The theme of Jewelry Fair is SECRET GARDEN, and the two sims - JewelryFair 1 and JewelryFair 2 - are laid out like a beautiful continuous hedge maze representing the four seasons of the year. If you start anywhere in the maze and keep walking the same direction, eventually you will end up where you started and you will have seen everyone.

I had been reading about the fires, as I'm sure we all have, on news outlets and was very happy when my friend Winter Jefferson dropped a notecard on me (and the rest of his friendslist) about a fund raiser being organized to contribute to relief efforts in Australia.

Autumn Hykova and Dakota Buck are putting together a fundraising campaign that has already raised tens of thousands of Linden dollars for the Red Cross relief efforts to help the victims of the bushfires in Victoria.

Many folks are helping out inworld and I would encourage you to give if you can at all -- every Linden counts.

I have put together a prim necklace with the design of a Phoenix rising, which is now available at the Sable Rose mainstore (SLURL) at Subtle Submission. Thank you to Winter Jefferson for the inspiration.
