My goodness, it sure must seem like I fell off the face of the earth. That's okay though, I've got some newness coming down the pike and thought I'd share some info!

First of all, we've changed over from a regular Subscrib-O-Matic to a new system so all the names in the existing Subscribo have been transferred over. Speaking of hunts, Sable Rose is proud to participate in the Twisted Hunt again this year. Here's our contribution:

For gentlemen, the ring-and-chain-bracelet combination. For ladies, a ladies-sized version of the ring/bracelet plus this bold and chunky chain necklace. As a friend of mine said recently in his blog entry wherein he described them: if you look closely into the gems, you may see something peering back at you!

We are also very excited to be a participant in Wear Gray For A Day to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association. This important event starts on September 12, and we will be releasing four completely exclusive items -- two women's, two men's -- for the fair. These will be 100% for charity and they will completely disappear after the fair is over. These are truly limited edition specials and I'm happy to give you a teaser of what's heading your way for Wear Gray:

Enkomi comes in a men's and women's version. The two color stylings that are exclusive to Wear Gray are... well, "Wear Gray" which is a sort of B&W verison with silver, black and white leather, and stones in different gray tones -- and "Stay Gold" which features rich, warm gold tones in metal and leather plus warm earth-toned stones. A men's and women's version in *each* exclusive color will be available at Wear Gray.

The ladies' version includes the necklace grouping, a set of matching bangle bracelets, and the intricate earrings with flexi details and trim. The gentlemen's version includes right and left versions of each cuff/bracer and the braided leather choker.

There will also be a version of each set available at the store that will not be exclusive to the event -- an earthy, sepia-toned version called "Painted Desert" with organic textures ranging from coral to a deep plum.

Again, Enkomi won't be available until Wear Gray starts NEXT weekend, but plan ahead to get yours because once they're gone, they're gone.

I invited my friend Petra Paderborn up to my bunny field for some fun with ringpops and candy necklaces and she couldn't have been a better model!

Eventually, after eating up her Cotton Candy GemPop, she switched to Grape, went on sugar overload, and we chilled out in the grass for a while.

The Shopatorium at Gallinas has expanded its roadside presence on the lovely mainland sim of Gallinas yet again! We have added a number of new storefronts for rent, including some larger footprint shops that include your own TP point, media stream and show-in-search. 40-prim, 75-prim 80-prim and 150+-prim shops are now available at the Shopatorium's prime mainland location.

This is a birds-eye view of the newly expanded north courtyard. The Shopatorium now has significant presence on both the east and west sides of the Linden Road through Gallinas.

These two shops with DIRECT roadfront exposure are 40 prims for 175L/wk.

This blue-trimmed 10x10 shop and its match, a green-trimmed 10x10 shop on the other side of this block of stores, are 40 prims and rent for 160L/wk.

This glass-and-metal purple-walled shop (Don't like the wall color? We can change it to whatever you'd like) faces a fountain and rents at 75 prims for 300L/wk.

This open-corner purple-trimmed brick shop faces the street on one side and a courtyard on the other, and rents for 325L/wk for 80 prims.

Both this two-story glass-front store and its twin to the left hand side of the picture come with show-in-search, your own media stream, your own TP point, your parcel name and description and your logo graphic attached to the parcel. They are currently set up for 150 prims at 650/wk but if you need more prims, you can increase the count for 4L per week per prim.

I'm proud to have a store on the Zhao sim, home of Cattiva e Cattivo, Zhao Shoes, and a number of my other favorite designers.

Having seen this information floating around a feed today, that Zhao has some shop space open, I thought I would re-blog it. I can testify that Lissa and Melanie are fabulous to work with and that the sim truly is gorgeous. They do a lot to generate traffic and I think any shop would do right by themselves to try to pick up a shop here.

And if you aren't a creator/shop owner, for gosh sakes just head on over to Zhao and do some shopping! (PS: Stop in Sable Rose too!)

Melanie Zhao, Owner and Designer for Zhao Shoes and Lissa Maertens, Owner and Designer for Cattiva e Cattivo have re-built their sim. It’s lower lag, it’s brighter and shiny, just like a new penny. However, one thing is missing, your store.

We’ve opened shops and have brought in some of the biggest designers inSL. Designers like Callie Cline, 5th and Oxford, Chez: Fine Clothes for Men, House of RFyre, AW Design, SF Design, MiaMai, BlowUp, Earth & Sky Designs and many others.

So, here are some details:

We have two type of shop at this time (however, we could be convinced to be flexible).

Small for 50 prims 275L/week
Large for 100 prims 550 /week

What you get:

We will be happy to modify the shop’s interior to fit your brand, just pass us the full perm textures.

Your logo can be emblazoned on the sign beside your door and you can also place a nice huge logo prim on the facade of the building.

A location on a sim that houses one of the most popular shoe stores and fashion brands inSL as well as other very well known designers.

A location where we try to minimize lag by only allowing standard one prim, non-scripted vendors.

A location that is home to hand-selected designers. We will not tolerate BiaBs, Franchises, etc. We want real, quality designers.

Mainstore - Gallinas Shopatorium: (SLURL)

Summer's here, and that means we found time to do a little spring cleaning. The mainstore at Gallinas has been expanded and now serves as a pass-through directly into the Shopatorium with entrances on both sides. Our upstairs level has grown and we've started grouping the jewelry together loosely based on their inspiration or theme. Pagan/mystic items, goth items, handcuff items, and other dark/fringe items are found upstairs. Lots of men's and ladies items are on the main floor. And the new release board still faces the Linden Road in front of the front door.

In case you missed it earlier this week, here are the most recent releases and the first items in the Sable Rose LGBT Pride collection, featuring FOUR new pieces:

Easing back into some former hunt items that are being released to the collection after requests from folks who missed them, two Pagan-friendly sets (four items, total) and another installation in the Poisoner's saga.

From the Twisted hunt earlier this year, The Poisoner's Son and The Poisoner's Daughter are now available again in the Gallinas mainstore. The Poisoner's Son is a set of two (one bloodied, one not) snakeskin buckled arm-cuffs for the gentlemen. The Poisoner's Daughter is a lovely charm bracelet complete with poison vials and other tools of the trade. Available either as a set (with both pieces TRANSFER OK, for keeping one and gifting one) or individually with regular C/M/NT perms.

And from the WOTY hunts in early 2010, some sets/items with a Pagan twist:

The Ostara necklaces are not being sold as a set, they are only available individually. The ladies' necklace features a Silver triple-moon Goddess symbol framed by delicate sculpted tulips. The gentlemen's necklace features a cartouche with triple subtly glowing sun symbols, and a Pentacle.

The Green Man necklace set was part of the WOTY Beltaine hunt, and is available as a his/hers set with Transfer permissions for gifting, or the necklaces are available individually. His and hers matching necklaces with matching sculpted gem-eyed Green Man pendants.

The Shopatorium at Gallinas is a shopping area with a great Linden Roadside location on the Gallinas sim, just north of the very popular sims of Isabel and Wingo, home of the Isabel Infohub and The Shelter resident hangout. The Shopatorium is within camera distance of both. We receive the benefit of these two sims' popularity and traffic without the lag.

The Shopatorium has lush, welcoming landscaping and we stretch between the Linden Road and amazing ocean views. And finally, the property does have a few carts available. Market carts are placed throughout the property (these are roadside, one vacant cart is near The Patio Live Music Venue) and rent for 50L/wk for 10 prims.

TO RENT A SHOP, pay the red box in the doorway. If you need more prims, prim allowance can be increased for 4L/prim/week.

As you might know, the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society (and other cancer charities) are very near and dear to me, as they are to many, many folks on the grid who have been touched in one way or another by this horrid disease. I (Rosie Barthelmess) am a member of the Jewelers of SL RFL team this year, and am proud to present the first of the items that I'll have for sale to benefit RFL and the American Cancer Society.
