Mainstore - Gallinas Shopatorium: (SLURL)

Summer's here, and that means we found time to do a little spring cleaning. The mainstore at Gallinas has been expanded and now serves as a pass-through directly into the Shopatorium with entrances on both sides. Our upstairs level has grown and we've started grouping the jewelry together loosely based on their inspiration or theme. Pagan/mystic items, goth items, handcuff items, and other dark/fringe items are found upstairs. Lots of men's and ladies items are on the main floor. And the new release board still faces the Linden Road in front of the front door.

In case you missed it earlier this week, here are the most recent releases and the first items in the Sable Rose LGBT Pride collection, featuring FOUR new pieces:

My RL took over a while back, and is slowly easing up enough for me to get back in the swing of things. There's four brand new items at Sable Rose plus three post-hunt-prize releases, so let's get down to business!

Inspired by and in honor of my many SL LGBT friends, I'm very proud to present the first four items in the Sable Rose - Pride collection.

For the ladies, the "Kiss of a Woman" snakebite lip piercing, silver twisted rings with Lesbian symbol.

For the gentlemen, the M-2-M necklace, featuring two "male connectors" and subtle rainbow symbols.

For those who identify as Bi, a unisex short necklace with colorful Bisexual symbol pendant.

And last but by no means least, for the members of the Transgendered community, a unisex short corded necklace featuring a TG symbol.

Easing back into some former hunt items that are being released to the collection after requests from folks who missed them, two Pagan-friendly sets (four items, total) and another installation in the Poisoner's saga.

From the Twisted hunt earlier this year, The Poisoner's Son and The Poisoner's Daughter are now available again in the Gallinas mainstore. The Poisoner's Son is a set of two (one bloodied, one not) snakeskin buckled arm-cuffs for the gentlemen. The Poisoner's Daughter is a lovely charm bracelet complete with poison vials and other tools of the trade. Available either as a set (with both pieces TRANSFER OK, for keeping one and gifting one) or individually with regular C/M/NT perms.

And from the WOTY hunts in early 2010, some sets/items with a Pagan twist:

The Ostara necklaces are not being sold as a set, they are only available individually. The ladies' necklace features a Silver triple-moon Goddess symbol framed by delicate sculpted tulips. The gentlemen's necklace features a cartouche with triple subtly glowing sun symbols, and a Pentacle.

The Green Man necklace set was part of the WOTY Beltaine hunt, and is available as a his/hers set with Transfer permissions for gifting, or the necklaces are available individually. His and hers matching necklaces with matching sculpted gem-eyed Green Man pendants.

It's that time again! As you might know, the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society (and other cancer charities) are very near and dear to me, as they are to many, many folks on the grid who have been touched in one way or another by this horrid disease. I (Rosie Barthelmess) am a member of the Jewelers of SL RFL team this year, and am proud to present the first of the items that I'll have for sale to benefit RFL and the American Cancer Society.

These are RFL-exclusive items so when they're gone, they're gone!

The mens and ladies Purple Celestial Necklace is a re-vamp of an item I had created last year but had never put up for sale in the store. This celestial sun-moon-stars design has been stylized with purple accents, inspired by the purple Relay For Life sun-moon-stars logo.

We are participating in both the Twisted Hunt Spring 2010 and the Wheel of the Year: Ostara hunt, both of which are now in full swing. We are also a participant in the Shopatorium at Gallinas Tiptoe Through the Tulips Hunt as well!

In our Tulip for the Shopatorium hunt, which goes on until Sunday, March 7, you'll receive both the Ladies Essentials Pearls Set and the Mens Basics Piercing Set, great classic groupings that won't go out of style.

Bargains abound at the Sable Rose location at Frankenlust Mall, on the Freakheim sim near the Freakheim Funeral Home rock club.

Frankenlust is a unique and fun shopping district with a wide variety of shops, pretty much all of whom operate on the outskirts of the mainstream. With shops like Collisions, Sable Rose, an all-holiday-all-the-time-store and a shop called the "Freaky Beaver," it's certainly worth checking out.

TP in directly in front of the Funeral Home and take a wander down the path. You'll find Sable Rose on the right hand side in a tall, creepy-fairy-tale-looking kind of cottage with three stories. There you'll find all the standard Sable Rose items up to and including the newest releases, but there's ONE item that for the remainder of this week only will be marked down to 10L, and you'll have to look at everything to figure out what it is! Sneaky sneaky with a dose of freaky for Freakheim.

Then if you make your way up to the third floor, you'll find that everything on that floor has also been temporarily discounted up to and over 80%, including a lot of the first items I first set out for sale about a year ago and a lot of men's items.

C'mon over and have a little bit of fun bargain hunting. And go on down to the end of the path and check out Collisions by my friend Guenevere DeCuir while you're there. Grab yourself a tat, a giftie or one of her other awesome items.

Frankenlust Mall on Freakheim is one of the hidden gems of SL shopping, especially for those who like to color a little bit outside of the lines. I hope you like it there as much as I like being there.

The Gallinas Shopatorium is a comfortable, relaxing shopping area on the north side of the mainland sim of Gallinas, with Linden Roadside frontage and a view of the Linden Ocean, near The Shelter on Wyngo and the Isabel Infohub. Following expansion and well-received improvements, there are only a few vacancies remaining for creators who need space to showcase their ideas, designs, or creations.

We have an excellent mainland location, Linden roadside near The Shelter club/hangout and near the Isabel Infohub. We are on the sim of Gallinas, just south of The Shelter on Wingo and the Infohub on Isabel, and do not experience the lag but do get traffic from exploring residents! The Patio, SL's newest successful live music venue, is also a part of the Shopatorium (and recent events at The Patio have brought groups of 30-40 people to the sim for 2-3 hours at a time).

All shops are near the parcel and Gallinas sim TP point, performance stage, 7Seas Fishing, and our Freebie area. Rental includes the ability to have place items in our freebie/bargain area as long as you don't go over your prims. For the 10x10 shops, we will texture your signage DIRECTLY ONTO THE BUILD so you won't need a prim for signage.

We are pleased to have Cattiva e Cattivo, Sable Rose Jewelry, and the new MEAT Shapes & Salon For Men Mainstore as anchor stores. Other fine vendors include Alli & Alli, Subtle Submission (now Sangre Noir), Collisions Tattoos and Accessories, Poetic Poses, Preferred Furniture, Slash Me Poses, Wild Eyes, Oddment, Pooka Creations, and more.

Stroll our cobblestone walkways past flowing fountains and take shade in our tall, mature trees that are showing the colors of fall. After a couple of requests for some basic ear piercings for the men out there, I went a little crazy and put together this HUGE set of piercings for a bargain price.

Ear Basics is a 34-piece set that inculdes 30 gem ear studs in 3 sizes (S/M/L) and 5 colors (diamond, black diamond, emerald, ruby, sapphire) in pairs so you can wear the left, the right, or together.

Also included is a captive bead stainless hoop pair, and a pair of industrial cartilege crossbars.

The price on these is 50L, fifty lindens, FIFTY lindens. That's not a sale price, that's just me trying to make appropriately-sized non-blinging simple ear piercings available for the menfolk at a price that won't hurt your pocketbooks too much.
