I'm proud to announce kind of a triple-whammy today as far as new things.

First things first, the pretty pretties. Or at least, I think they are, and I hope you'll think so too.

Jelivianne, named for and inspired by my friend Jelivianne Grenville, is a hematite set consisting of a draping necklace on a chain of tiny hematite beads, a set of hematite (right arm) bangles, and a pair of bold, chunky stud earrings. L$250 for the set.

Balance is a pearlescent Yin-Yang symbol embedded into a dark silver star, suspended on a dark/black-silver chain. There is also a small yin-yang tag that drapes down the back of the neck, in a matching color to the pendant front. Balance comes with drop earrings featuring the same design as the pendant.

Balance is available in: Black (regular), orange, red, pink, violet, blue, green, and rainbow, and is L$200 in each color for the set.

And don't forget the SL Discovery hunt starting on May 1, we'll be participating. Our gift will be at the Shengri La Vintage Marketplace location, which is a valid location until July 2009.

Things are still new at the shop but I'll be putting in a selection of freebies and gifties for avies under 60 days as well as avies over 60 days, in the spirit of being so near a well-known infohub and newbie-friendly area.

I've spent the afternoon creating earrings to match Ballad (all colors), Luna, Starlin, Isadora, and Tiny Dancer in both Silver and Gold.

I also have managed to update all the vendors into selling them as sets, except for Isadora. I'm waiting for their namesake Isadora to log in so I can re-shoot the vendor pictures, so watch for the new Isadora set including bangles, necklace and earrings, this weekend.

Tiny Dancer is a interlocking series of round links in three colors of gold or silver -- inspired by Black Hills gold. The links drape over the collarbone in a natural, random array of links.

The bracelet and necklace share the same design. Simple enough to be worn with casual pieces, pretty enough to be paired with a gown and updo for a night out.

I know it might seem weird for me to blog about the custom work I do without following it up with, "and this will be released in the store!" But, I am really really proud of this necklace, and it was a gift to one dear friend of mine, from another dear friend of mine.

Zarabella Ming approached me to take her vision of the perfect charm necklace/locket and customize it for Noirran Marx for her rezday. As I am close friends with both of those amazing ladies, I was happy to take on the project.

Here's how it came out.

This one of a kind necklace is made of interlocking silver links with a variety of charm-bracelet type embellishments:

Musical notes, handcuffs, roses, a paw print, and treble clefs.

The necklace has a front-closure pass-through in which the locket is suspended on the dangling end.

The locket is a working locket in which the front cover swivels around to present the photo in a cameo-type arrangement with framing reminiscent of celtic knots.

255 prims.

The Zoe pendant for both men and women is a bold, gothic/celtic style available in various color combinations. This equilateral cross is embellished with celtic knotwork in the center and on the cross points, and spherical and oval gems. It is suspended on a sturdy square-link chain that drapes over the shoulders.

It is available in three color combinations. Blood, which is rich fiery rubies inlaid on a dark silver, almost gunmetal-grey, cross with ruby-tinted knotwork...

I'm really proud, and excited on a personal level, to present a new set available at Sable Rose, at the Sable Rose Mainstore at Filataponic (SLURL), Freakheim (SLURL), Holland (SLURL), and the shop at Shengri La.

This set is inspired by my someone who is amazingly dear to me both in SL and RL, Isadora Graves, who is also the reason I joined SL at all. Izzy and I live in different states, and Izzy has written more than once on her blog about her RL mobility challenges, so it's difficult for us to get together in RL and travel, see things, and have adventures. So, when we're together in SL, that's where we get our adventure on.

While in SL Isadora takes on many different looks from soft to edgy, in RL she's also very beautiful and has a wonderful, artistic, bohemian vibe about her. I took inspiration from her RL and SL self and created a set I hoped she'd be proud to wear in either life.

And then, I asked her to model it for me.

The set started with the Isadora Necklace, which took a number of different forms before settling on this one. This short necklace is made out of a variety of lacquered wood and brushed copper beads, with brushed metal tabs dangling off the front center.

The more the necklace grew on me, and the more folks I showed the necklace to, it became evident that it needed a bracelet counterpart. And so, the Isadora bangle set was born.

And then, for convenience, I figured it's best to offer them as a set (at a discount)!
