Autumn is on its way in, and it's in with a bang! There are so many great hunts and special events coming up in the month of September!

SN@TCH CITY/PULSE SUMMER FRESHNESS HUNT

Stop by Sable Rose at Snatch City (SLURL) starting TODAY for your free and discounted goodies! The vendors of the Snatch City and Pulse sims are teaming up this weekend, August 28-30, for a special two-day hunt. I've put my gifts out one day early.

The FREEBIE is an EXCLUSIVE item that will disappear after this hunt goes away in a couple of days, so make sure you stop in to get yours: a special punked up version of the Vegas Rhinestone Set, which I have not-so-originally called Vegas Punk.

Free free free free FREE, just find the ... ahem ... douche bottle (that's right, all the Snatch City Freshness Hunt gifts are hidden in multi-coloured douche bottles) in or around the Sable Rose shop to pick yours up! While you're there, look for the other three items that are heavily discounted and on extra-special douche bottle freshness sale for you just for the weekend. The discounts on these three items range from 50% off to 85% off!

And then right around the corner, is THE TWISTED HUNT! This mammoth hunt starts on September 1 and Sable Rose Jewelry at Gallinas (SLURL) is #14.

The Poisoner distressed leather choker (men's gift) is a worn leather choker with distinctive metal spikes, a silver chain-wrapped detail and a small pewter skull that hangs from the front.

The Poisoner's Wife necklace (women's gift) is made from rustic wrought-iron links, interwoven with blood-red roses, leaves and thorns. There is a large, cameo-style gem pendant in deep garnet tones, with the ghostly visage of an imprisoned soul held within.

The Twisted Hunt theme is Nightmares, so I went a little creepy.

Whew! Busy busy week at Sable Rose, hope you are all having a great busy week, too!

Let's cut straight to the new release, shall we? In a moment of cheekyness, I've put together something that I hope you'll all think is cute and fun. The "Signals" jewelry set is a silver chain with a bold silver arrow design suspended over the collarbone, with a texture-changing gem in the center.

The textures are ruby red, yellow diamond, and green emerald. You know -- red = stop, green = go, yellow = holy moly, dangerous curves ahead, proceed with caution!

Whether you wear it to make a statement or because it's fun or just because it's a bold piece, I hope you'll have fun with it. The set comes with matching arrow drop earrings that have all three gems in them, in the order of a traffic signal.

So if you're a DSN'er, be watching for this new item to show up as your jewelry/accessories option.

I've spent the better part of a couple nights trying to get caught up and get all the stuff from the store onto Xstreet, which is taking me surprisingly longer than I thought but it's almost all updated. Whew!

On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I was inspired by the amount of over the top, almost cheeky, sassy costumey bling that could be seen both in the decor of the different casinos, and on the women who were out to have fun.

I returned home with rhinestones on the brain, and when I sat down to try to put the images together into something fun, out came Vegas.

Vegas features a sparkly (no bling) rhinestone necktie necklace, feminine, sexy and sassy, with rhinestone right-arm bracelets and a pair of rhinestone earrings. There's very little understated about Vegas, but is there ever?
